Wild Games to air on Local FM Station

The Wenatchee Wild, proud members of the BCHL, are pleased to announce they have reached an agreement to broadcast their games this season with locally owned KCSY-FM, 93.9, known as “Sunny FM”.

The Wild season is underway, and the team is off to their best start since 2012. Beginning next Saturday when the Wild travel to Coquitlam, all 49 remaining regular season games plus playoffs will be aired live on Sunny FM. The Sunny FM signal is available locally at 93.9 FM, and throughout North Central Washington all the way up to the Canadian border on additional FM frequencies. Wild fans will also be able to access the broadcasts via online streaming, and there are plans to integrate the stream into the new Wenatchee Wild app, making it easier than ever before to follow the team.

The Wild franchise remains committed to serving its fan base. Team Owner and President David White is pleased to have reached this agreement.

Dave Herald, who is part owner as well as General Manager of Sunny FM is excited to add the Wild to their lineup which already includes Wenatchee Applesox baseball during the summer months. “We are excited to have the opportunity to add the Wenatchee Wild to our growing regional sports lineup”, he said. “This provides us the perfect transition to and from our AppleSox baseball coverage and we couldn’t be happier.”

The play-by-play duties will continue to be handled by veteran broadcaster Arch Ecker. The games are also available on a pay-per-view basis with HockeyTV.com.
