Wenatchee, WA-The Wenatchee Wild Hockey will drop the first puck of the season in an exhibition game on Saturday, September 7 at 7:05 p.m. in the Rink at the Town Toyota Center. Tickets are only $12 per person and seating is limited in the bleachers at the Rink. This game is the first peek of the soon to be final roster of the Wenatchee Wild 2.0 team.
Potential players from around the world have been in training camp since last Friday. Youth 16-20 years of age are from Russia, Germany, Sweden, Canada and across the U.S. The athletes have been training hard to earn their place on the Wenatchee Wild season roster. “I’m excited to be back on the ice working with a great group of young athletes to build your Wenatchee Wild 2.0,” states General Manager/Head Coach Bliss Littler. The Wild and Town Toyota Center staffs are excited to be working together to extend the fan experience this season. “The 2.0 means we want to upgrade in all we do on and off the ice,” continues Coach Littler.
The official season schedule is posted online and at many area businesses. The first game home game is on Friday, October 4 and Saturday, October 5th vs. Minot Minotaurs from North Dakota.
