Wenatchee, WA-The Town Toyota Center is pleased to extend the dates of public Roller Skating in the main arena to Saturday, August 24th! The ice will be ready for the hockey season on September 16. Hundreds of skaters have enjoyed roller skating in the Wenatchee Valley this summer and the Town Toyota Center is thrilled to offer additional dates.
The roller rink is open daily, Monday-Friday from 1:00 – 3:00p.m., and Friday and Saturday nights from 6:45-8:45 p.m. in the main arena. There are theme nights every Friday and Saturday night as well as roller skating traditions such as the ‘limbo’, ‘hokey-pokey’ and ‘ladies only’ skate. The upcoming theme nights are as follows:
- Friday, August 16, Lights Out! Night Out! (glow sticks available for purchase)
- Saturday, August 17, SuperHero night
- Friday, August 23, Lights Out! Night Out!
- Saturday, August 24, Zombie/Apocalypse night (last day for roller skating for the summer!)
The Town Toyota Center arena floor is concrete and it makes for a perfect roller rink. Ice skating will remain open daily in the Rink at the Town Toyota Center. Admission for both roller and ice skating is only $5 per person plus $2 for skate rentals. Guests can be admitted for only $5 and opt to spend an hour ice skating and an hour roller skating if they choose.
The public roller skating rink is family orientated and perfect for large groups, parties or corporate activities. For 20 people or more, receive $1 off admission per person. Please call Katie Burkenpas, Group Sales, 509.888.7331.
