TOWN TOYOTA CENTER TO HOST U.S. FIGURE SKATING 2015 NORTHWEST PACIFIC REGIONAL CHAMPIONSHIPS

The Wenatchee Figure Skating Club (WFSC) and the Pacific Northwest Interclub Association (PNIC) will be host to the 2015 Northwest Pacific (NWP) Regional Championships Oct. 5-7, 2014, at the Town Toyota Center. Competitors representing clubs from Washington, Oregon, Idaho, Montana, Wyoming and Alaska will be participating in this U.S. Figure Skating sanctioned event. This is the first of two qualifying competitions for skaters to advance to the U.S. Figure Skating Championship to be held in Greensboro, North Carolina, Jan. 17-25, 2015 and the first time this event has been held in Wenatchee, Washington.
Official practices for all qualifying levels begin on Saturday, Oct. 4 from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Competition will begin on Sunday, Oct. 5, from 8:30 a.m. to 9:05 p.m., Monday, Oct. 6, from 8:30 a.m. to 9:25 p.m., and Tuesday, Oct. 7, from 8 a.m. to 4:15 p.m. Competition includes competitors in non-test through senior ladies. The top four competitors in juvenile, intermediate, novice, junior, and senior men and ladies events will advance to the 2015 U.S. Figure Skating Pacific Coast Sectional Championships to be held in Spokane, Washington, Nov. 18-22, 2014. A detailed scheduled is available athttp://www.wenatcheefsc.org/nwp_2015. The public is invited to attend and a daily ($15) or all event ticket ($35) can be purchased at the door. Children under the age of 6 are free with a ticketed adult.
