ARMADA'S SUMMERFEST IS ON! INSIDE THE TOWN TOYOTA CENTER

Wenatchee, WA –The Chelan-Douglas Health District has designated Wenatchee’s air quality as “unhealthy” due to the drifting smoke from the Chiwaukum Fire burning near Leavenworth, Washington.  Due to the air quality, Armada’s SummerFest event will occurinside the Town Toyota Center this weekend. The Swimworld outdoor stage will be set-upinside the center at the main entrance with bands playing on Friday night and throughout the day on Saturday

The event schedule will continue as planned with over 30 different ales to sip, 2 stages, 8 bands, a co-ed hockey jamboree in the Rink sponsored by Cashmere Valley Bank, vendor booths on the concourse and one of the largest beer pong tournaments on the West Coast presented by Twin Peaks Ciderhouse. “The Town Toyota Center’s air conditioned environment and air quality make it the ideal place to enjoy the festivities in Wenatchee this weekend,” states Mark Miller, General Manager. “We are expecting hundreds of attendees to relax, sip, and have fun” adds Miller.

Wenatchee’s SummerFest will feature live entertainment from 5:00 p.m.-10:00 p.m. on Friday and Noon-10:00 p.m. on Saturday.  The bands are as follows:

Friday, July 18

5:00-6:30        Kevin Jones Band, Wenatchee
7:00-8:00        Blue Tattoo, Portland
8:30-10:00       Rail, Seattle on the T-mobile stage operated by Express Locations

Saturday, July 19

12:30-2:00       The Kellee Bradley Band, Redmond
2:30-4:00        The Randy Oxford Band, Belfair
4:30-6:00        Ricky Venture Revue, Bothell
6:30-8:00        Groovnhouse, Leavenworth
8:00-10:00      Hells Belles, the all-female AC-DC band, on the T-mobile stage operated by Express Locations

SummerFest admission is only $35and includes three 3 ounce pours. The admission is good for both days. Guests will have full re-entry access throughout the weekend. For more information, click here or call (509) 667-7847.  

UPDATE - AMERICAN RED CROSS FIRE RELIEF          

Volunteers from the American Red Cross will be in the concourse during the weekend at SummerFest to collect funds and supplies for to assist those who have been affected by the devastating fires raging throughout North Central Washington. Contributors to the relief effort will receive $10 off to the ticket price of $25 for the two-day event.
